Founder’s Story

Yaniv Levy, the Vision Behind Williamsburg Salon

Yaniv discovered his innate eye for design at seventeen, training under industry greats before taking his talents to Los Angeles, where celebrities and trendsetters quickly claimed him as their go-to stylist.

From Los Angeles to New York

After years on the Hollywood circuit, Yaniv answered the call of New York’s creative energy. In 2010 he opened the first Y Gallery Salon in SoHo, earning immediate acclaim for his modern cuts, luminous color, and intuitive finishing techniques.

Fashion houses soon took note, inviting him backstage at New York Fashion Week, where his signature looks became a fixture on the runway.

Today Yaniv brings that same expertise to Williamsburg, Brooklyn — specializing in certified organic hair color, precision haircuts, balayage, and hair transformations at both Williamsburg Salon and Williamsburg Blow Bar. Two distinct brands, same studio, same team, at 97 South 6th Street.

Yaniv is a fine artist and Kung Fu practitioner, and he channels that same mind-body balance into every guest interaction. The goal is a salon where inspiration, wellness and craft sit alongside each other.

I’ve believed for many years now, that Williamsburg is the new SoHo. It’s the reason I opened my newest salon here. It’s the reason I call Williamsburg home.
